The GermanPowerMarket.database.toolbox (GPM.db.tb) is a software which contain two kinds of components. The first core component is a collection of different data sets for the German power market derived from the entsoE transparency platform. Those collections are structured in a SQLite database to ensure a fast access and a easy link different data sets for derived or rather secondary informations. The second part of the GPM.db.tb is a toolbox of six python modules to set up the data base from entsoE raw data, compute secondary informations and most of all serve functions for various plots of the data. There is also one module for a graphical user interface (GUI) to simplify the usability of the plotting functions. In addition for some (recently one) applications of the GPM.db.tb short documentations referring to specific use cases are part of that wiki as well as the corresponding raw data and results stored in the appropriate subdirectories.
The GPM.db.tb is developed and tested under python version 3.8.5 and will be refined continuously. There is also a corresponding GitLab repository with a short documentation wiki for the main functions and the opportunity to report issues for malfunctions and suggested improvements. https://gitlab.com/M.Dotzauer/gpm_dbtb
