The article considers the peculiarities of issuing and applying a protective order to persons who have been subjected to domestic violence in order to protect the rights and legitimate interests of women of the Republic of Uzbekistan, increase their role and activity in the socio-political life of the country, and ensure guarantees of gender equality. The legislation of Central Asian countries related to the fight against domestic violence is analyzed. The results of an online survey of the population devoted to ideas about the concept of a "protective order", the rules for its issuance and use, as well as the role of a protective order in the activation of receiving social and psychological assistance are presented.
