SophiA - Nachhaltige Energieversorgungslösungen für Gesundheitseinrichtungen im ländlichen Afrika

Abstract

This presentation contains a general descripion of the EU funded project SophiA and of the design of the power supply of the refrigeration and water SophiA systems. These systems are build in South Africa. The SophiA Systems will be tested and demonstrated at four rural hospitals in remote regions throughout the African continent covering the major geographical regions and different climatic conditions in Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Malawi and Uganda.
