BİTCOİN GETİRİLERİ ÜZERİNDE ETKİSİ BULUNAN FİNANSAL GÖSTERGELERİN ARAŞTIRILMASI

Abstract

Bu çalışmada 2010:09-2021:04 dönemleri arasında Bitcoin getirileri üzerinde etkisi bulunan belirlenmiş bazı finansal göstergelerin etkisi araştırılmıştır. Çalışma için belirlenen finansal göstergeler; Borsa İstanbul 100 Endeksi (BİST100), Nikkei 225 Endeksi (N225) ve Japon Yeni olarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada aylık veriler kullanılarak uygulanan çoklu regresyon analizinde Bitcoin getirileri bağımlı değişken; Japon yeni, BİST 100 ve N225 Endeksi bağımsız değişkenler olarak ifade edilmiştir. Çalışmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre N225 Endeksi Bitcoin getirileri üzerinde %5 önem düzeyinde istatistiksel bakımdan önemli bulunmuştur. Japon yeni ve BİST100 Endeksi’nin ise Bitcoin getirileri üzerinde herhangi bir etkisi bulunmamıştır.
