The first Policy Brief of the EU-Africa PerMed project (https://www.euafrica-permed.eu/) presents the findings from the scientific and policy mapping of Personalised Medicine in Africa (PM), and highlights the opportunities that Africa can explore to strengthen the development and implementation of PM. The document also includes a set of Policy Recommendations for African governments, ministries of health, research, science, and technology agencies, as well as regional bodies for advancing the development of PM in African countries, as well as suggestions to solidify the links between Africa and the EU when it comes to PM.
