Abstract

Agonopterix kaekeritziana (Linnaeus, 1767) (Figs 20, 42) Phalaena (Tortrix) kaekeritziana Linnaeus, 1767: 876. Agonopterix kaekeritziana (Linnaeus, 1767): Robinson & Nielsen, 1983: 216. Material examined. CHINA, Hebei: 1♁, Lianhuachi, Mt. Wuling, Xinglong, 1800 m, 1.VIII.2000, leg. YL Du & ZD Li, slide No. W 00145. Diagnosis. Adult (Fig. 20). Wingspan 19.0–22.0 mm. Agonopterix kaekeritziana can be distinguished by the forewing with a black spot on the outer margin of the cell surrounded by bright red orange scales, and with a large dark brown patch below the black spot; and by the cuiller curved in S shape in the male genitalia (Fig. 42). It is similar to A. broennoeensis (Strand, 1920), and the differences between them can be found in the diagnosis of the preceding species. Distribution. China (Hebei), Turkey, Mongolia, Europe (Lvovsky 2001a).
