PRINCIPLES OF TREATMENT OF PULPITIS IN PREGNANT WOMEN WITH THE VI-TAL METHOD

Abstract

Abstract Caries, which is one of the current problems in stomatology, is an open source of infection of the body, and if not intervened in time, leads to a deeper process - pulpitis, though it occurs in up to 3% of cases during pregnancy, most often it may lead to various complications of pregnancy, risks of premature birth, premature peeling of the pair and spread of infection. Taking into account the relevance of the topic, among 22 pregnant women diagnosed with pulpitis, treated with devital method, 58% were in the second trimester, 33% were in the first trimester, and 9% were in the last trimester. At the same time, the course of pregnancy of these patients, the development and condition of the fetus, and the presence or absence of extragenital pathologies of women were kept under control. As a result of the examination, in 8 pregnant women, incorrect treatment of etiological factors was detected and corrected, embalming paste (Devit-C) was used in 2 patients, 9 pregnancies ended successfully, and pregnancy continued normally in 3 patients. Thus, timely correction of the oral cavity, especially of carious teeth, of all women planning to become pregnant will enable future pregnancies to end normally.
