Le projet Erratum souhaite relire certains éléments de l’histoire coloniale française et emploie ainsi l’erratum en tant que dispositif pour questionner les liens entre des explorateurs français du XVIIIe siècle, le transport des plantes lors de leurs voyages et le système esclavagiste transatlantique. Il interroge l’archive et ses traces subtilement lisibles dans les lieux publics où se trouvent les mémoires des plantes et jardins coloniaux, mais aussi les marques de ce que Myriam Cottias appelle « l’oubli de l’esclavage ».
