Abstract

Η υπηρεσία αυτή αποτελείται από μια εργαλειοθήκη που επιτρέπει σε πλατφόρμες Επιστήμης των Πολιτών (ή άλλα ερευνητικά έργα) να αναπτύσσουν εργαλεία αυτόματης αναγνώρισης προσαρμοσμένα στις ανάγκες τους, π.χ. για συγκεκριμένες ομάδες ειδών. Το εργαλείο αναγνώρισης, που βασίζεται στη μηχανική μάθηση, θα περιλαμβάνει μια αναζήτηση για την εύρεση παρόμοιων αποτελεσμάτων. Για παράδειγμα, μεταξύ φωτογραφιών ειδών που ενδεχομένως μοιάζουν με την παρατήρηση που έκανε ο πολίτης - επιστήμονας. Παράδειγμα: Ένα μουσείο που αναπτύσσει μια εφαρμογή σχετική με μια συγκεκριμένη ομάδα ειδών θα μπορεί να ενσωματώσει ένα εργαλείο αναγνώρισης φωτογραφιών για το συγκεκριμένο είδος χωρίς ιδιαίτερη προσπάθεια.
