Abstract

Η υπηρεσία αυτή έχει αναπτύξει μια διεπαφή προγραμματισμού εφαρμογών (API) που επιτρέπει στους χρήστες να υποβάλλουν ερωτήματα στη μηχανή ταυτοποίησης Pl@ntNet. Η υπηρεσία αυτή είναι διαθέσιμη σε προγραμματιστές, ερευνητές και άλλα επιστημονικά Παρατηρητήρια Πολιτών που ενδιαφέρονται για τη βιοποικιλότητα των φυτών. Το Pl@ntNet-API επιτρέπει σε άλλα Παρατηρητήρια Πολιτών και εφαρμογές τρίτων που αναπτύσσονται από βιομηχανικούς, ακαδημαϊκούς ή συνεταιριστικούς φορείς να ενσωματώνουν πολύ εύκολα στις εφαρμογές τους χαρακτηριστικά αυτόματης αναγνώρισης φυτών.
