Abstract

Το Cos4Bio είναι μια διαδικτυακή πλατφόρμα που ενσωματώνει παρατηρήσεις σχετικά με τη βιοποικιλότητα από διάφορα παρατηρητήρια πολιτών, δυνητικά έναν τεράστιο αριθμό παρατηρήσεων που ενδιαφέρουν την κοινότητα των εμπειρογνωμόνων. Η πύλη επιτρέπει στους εμπειρογνώμονες της επιστήμης των πολιτών να βλέπουν και ν' αναγνωρίζουν όλες τις παρατηρήσεις σε ένα μέρος. Αφού ταυτοποιηθεί, η παρατήρηση επιστρέφει στην πύλη του παρατηρητηρίου πολιτών όπου αναφέρθηκε για τελική επικύρωση σύμφωνα με τον ειδικό αλγόριθμό της.
