32. Haemaphysalis colesbergensis Apanaskevich & Horak, 2008c. Afrotropical: 1) South Africa (Horak et al. 2018). Haemaphysalis colesbergensis was confused with Haemaphysalis leachi prior to its description by Apanaskevich & Horak (2008c), and Horak et al. (2018) stated that both of these species as well as Haemaphysalis elliptica are very similar morphologically.
