Abstract

Los últimos acontecimiento ocurridos a nivel mundial, en el sistema sanitario, dejan abierta la puerta para una nueva sospecha de enfermedades que podrían presentarse, entre ellas la zoonosis, que puede generar una crisis social, económica y sanitaria mundial debido a la falta de preparación en el sistema de salud, además los profesionales están sometidos al síndrome de Burnout, que es un problema que afecta no sólo a la salud de los profesionales sanitarios, sino también a la calidad de los cuidados, deteriora la relación paciente-trabajador sanitario y tiene un alto costo social y económico. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo analizar la incidencia de una nueva pandemia causada por una zoonosis en el sistema de salud a nivel Nacional. Se trabajó con una metodología de enfoque cualitativo y carácter descriptivo, donde se detalla como afrontaría el Sistema de Salud Pública Local la sospecha y propagación de una nueva zoonosis, que puede llegar a niveles de pandemia, la investigación no pretende brindar estrategias para mitigar o disminuir los niveles de infección, si no dar a conocer una realidad. Se obtuvo como resultado y conclusiones la necesidad de utilizar un modelo de comunicación externa, basada en la confianza, para mantener a la población informada y los principales involucrados con quienes se articularía para enfrentar un nuevo brote de zoonosis serían el Ministro de Salud, Director del ECU 911, Gobernadores, Comandante de la Policía Nacional, Autoridades de los Gobiernos autónomos descentralizados, Autoridades del sistema educativo, Gobiernos cantonales y Directores zonales la salud.
