Grenzen der Offenheit: eine digitale Sammlung zur Erforschung historischer Arzneimittelrezepte

Abstract

Der Vortrag beleuchtet zwei zentrale Aspekte: Anhand des ArIS-Kooperationsprojektes zur Erschließung und Erforschung einer umfangreichen historischen Arzneimittelrezeptsammlung wird einerseits gezeigt, wie offene und auf Nachhaltigkeit angelegte universitäre Kompetenz- und Supportstrukturen durch die Einhaltung von Standards und die Anwendung aktueller digitaler Methoden zum Erfolg eines Projektes beitragen können. Andererseits werden Grenzen aufgezeigt, die dem Ideal der den FAIR-Prinzipien entsprechenden Offenheit von erhobenen Daten entgegenstehen und teilweise nur in Ansätzen überwunden werden können. Ein Beitrag zur 9. Tagung des Verbands "Digital Humanities im deutschsprachigen Raum" - DHd 2023 Open Humanities Open Culture.
