Statistical systems for assessing the administrative potential of informatization at the macroeconomic level

Abstract

The subject of the study is statistical systems for assessing the administrative potential of informatization at the macroeconomic level. The purpose of the study is to investigate and generalize methodological techniques for building statistical systems for assessing the administrative potential of informatization at the macroeconomic level. Research methods. The work uses the dialectical method of scientific knowledge, the method of analysis and synthesis, the statistical method, and the method of summarizing data. Work results. The paper examines and characterizes statistical systems for assessing the administrative potential of implementing information and communication technologies in the national economy. A result–quantitative analysis of the administrative potential of ICT implementations was conducted, which is based on the outline and correlation comparison of a number of indicators that most clearly and effectively reflect the results of the administrative infrastructure activity described in the process of structural–qualitative analysis. Conclusions. Research has statistically proven that the spread of the Internet contributes to the growth of the gross regional product. This is primarily due to the increase in labor productivity due to a more efficient organization of the work process at many workplaces, fiscal deductions to the budgets of a part of the income of Internet providers, etc. From the factual material and the identified trends in the development of the ICT sector of Ukraine and a comparison of its current positions with similar sectors of other countries, it can be concluded that our country has a sufficiently significant potential to activate a number of directions of informatization and communication of the national economy, but in certain parameters it lags behind not only from the world’s leading countries, but also from medium– developed countries, which requires the development and implementation of a strategic information policy at the macro level in order to get out of this situation. It is necessary to take into account that the geo–information space is very dynamic, and therefore it is necessary to keep in mind possible changes in the global ICT market, from which it follows that it is n
