This rubric is used by the Stanford DMP Service as part of consultations related to the creation and/or refinement of data management plans. In particular, this rubric was designed to help with consultations related to data management and sharing plans (DMSPs) as required by the NIH data management and sharing policy. The content of this document not represent the criteria used internally by any research funder to evaluate data management plans submitted as part of a project proposal and should be used for guidance purposes only. This document will be updated as the guidance we offer as part of our consultation process evolves over time.
