ENXERTO DE CALOTA CRANIANA PARA RECONSTRUÇÃO DE MANDÍBULA ATRÓFICA

Abstract

A instalação de implantes dentários em maxila severamente atrófica ainda é um desafio, devido à quantidade limitada de osso disponível. Nesses casos, com o objetivo de garantir estabilidade para os implantes, torna-se necessário a utilização de enxertia. Dessa forma, o presente estudo possui como objetivo revisar a literatura acerca do enxerto de calota craniana para reconstrução de mandíbula atrófica. Para a construção deste artigo foi realizado um levantamento bibliográfico nas bases de dados SciVerse Scopus, Scientific Electronic Library Online (Scielo), U.S. National Library of Medicine (PUBMED) e ScienceDirect, com auxílio do gerenciador de referências Mendeley. Os artigos foram contemplados entre os anos de 2010 a 2023. A escolha pela calota craniana como local doador para reconstrução da mandíbula atrófica é uma ótima opção de tratamento. A calvária pode fornecer grande quantidade de enxerto ósseo autógeno corticoesponjoso de boa qualidade.
