Abstract

The article considers the actualization of the metaphorical-symbolic component of the linguistic and cultural concept of LOVE based on the material of the folk songs of the anthology «Shitjin». This interest is explained by the fact that the majority of folk songs, in which its components are verbalized, due to their imagery, not only represent the types of human behavior and national behavioral stereotypes, but also history, culture, everyday life, socio-economic life, mentality, the way of thinking of the people, peculiarities his language What determines the relevance of the mentioned intelligence. It is emphasized that this research is one of the first attempts to describe the linguistic and cultural concept of LOVE, in particular its metaphorical and symbolic component.
