Salud y humor en pacientes con enfermedad renal.

Abstract

Resumen Esta investigación estudió las relaciones entre Estado de Salud y Sentido del Humor en pacientes con enfermedad renal crónica. Metodológicamente, se ajustó un estudio no experimental, descriptivo con nivel correlacional, diseño de corte transversal. Con una muestra de 80 personas mediante un muestreo intencional. Los instrumentos para explorar las variables fueron: El cuestionario de Salud SF-36 y el Cuestionario de Estilos de Humor. Los resultados indicaron niveles altos en las dimensiones de Salud Mental y Función Física. Al igual que rol emocional, salud general, vitalidad mantiene promedio alto, dolor corporal y rol físico un promedio bajo. En sentido del humor se presenta automejoramiento seguido del agresivo, aunque predominan los estilos adaptativos. Se concluye una relación positiva entre salud mentalhumor adaptativo, una relación negativa entre salud general-humor adaptativo. Se comprueba la hipótesis de que a mayor salud mental prevalece humor adaptativo, se rechaza que a mayor salud general predomina humor adaptativo.
