Repository of codes and example maps published belonging to Willcock et al. (2023) Model Ensembles of Ecosystem Services Fill Global Certainty and Capacity Gaps. Science Advances, in press. This is a journal required copy from GitHub account https://github.com/GlobalEnsembles This upload contains the following elements: Uploaded 1200 dpi Tif-files of Global median maps for five ES, without country borders. Note! For 1200 dpi: 1 pixel approximates 12 gridcells on the actual map (≈ 12km2). Actual maps can be downloaded from: https://catalogue.ceh.ac.uk/documents/bd940dad-9bf4-40d9-891b-161f3dfe8e86 Winsorisation protocol. Via Matlab (WinsorFunction.m) and with export of the threshold values to Arc software to be applied to layers (Winsorisation.ipynb), which mirrors the Matlab code. The array generator from ascii files is added for completeness (LoadingFunctionWinsor.m) Matlab Codes for creating the ensemble weights for gridded data & per catchment ensembles for accumulated water (Abbreviation: ES). Note: functions include daughter functions in the same file. Files are: Accuracy_statistics_World_ES.m; cut_top_off_ascii_ES.m DefintionSet_World_ES.m; Main_TheRuns_World_ES.m; Make_Ensembles_World_ES.m. Codes for Validation (Figure 3) and statistics (Table 1) and accompanying SIs (Abbreviation: VS) . Note: functions include daughter functions in the same file. Files are: CreateOutputsValidationExampleCarbon_VS.m; MainbodyCodeValidationPublication_VS.m; CreateOutputsValidationExampleWater_VS.m. Example Python-arcpy looping codes as used as notebooks in ArcPro; Water codes are most complex and explicatory (Abbreviation: AP). Files are: ArcMapWeightedEns_VS.ipynb; CarbonCodes_VS.ipynb; GrazingCodes(idemFuelwood)_VS.ipynb; MainExample_WaterCodes_VS.ipynb; RecreationCodes_VS.ipynb; RetentionCodes_VS.ipynb. | selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
