The paper is dealing with the study, introduction and selection (1970-2017) of 575 rose species and varieties of the Rosa L. genus represented in various garden groups. collection of ywhich was created in the Central Botanical Garden. Using hybridization and selection, 28 new varieties of rOSe have been cultivated. Biomortologcal and decorative characteristics of these varieties are presented.
