MATERIALES PARA LA CONSTRUCCIÓN DE UNA VIVIENDA SOSTENIBLE EN EL ALTIPLANO PERUANO.

Abstract

La utilización de materiales de construcción en la región Puno, en el altiplano peruano, se basa en el consumo local sin considerar sus características ecológicas y su comercialización, lo que propicia el uso indebido de materiales procesados. En consecuencia, las viviendas construidas no satisfacen las necesidades ambientales de los usuarios. El objetivo es evaluar las características de los materiales utilizados en la construcción de viviendas en la región y examinar la posibilidad de utilizar materiales ecológicos propios. Se han aplicado teorías de sostenibilidad a los procesos de construcción y utilización de las viviendas. Se analizaron dos tipos de viviendas, la de adobe y la de ladrillo, ubicadas en zonas circunlacustres y altoandinas, respectivamente. Con el uso de una Matriz de Leopold, se extenderá el nivel de sostenibilidad de los materiales utilizados, considerando las características definidas en base a los objetivos de la arquitectura sostenible y la cantidad proporcional utilizada en la construcción de cada vivienda. Los resultados obtenidos indican un nivel referencial de sostenibilidad de 2,99, que en una escala de 0 a 5, significa entre bajo y medio. Este resultado se debe principalmente a la utilización de materiales procesados que ofrece el mercado de la construcción y el desconocimiento de sus cualidades. Por lo tanto, se concluye que los materiales utilizados en la construcción de viviendas en el altiplano peruano son principalmente materiales procesados y no permiten la sostenibilidad de la vivienda. Se recomienda implementar un conjunto de recomendaciones técnicas en los procesos de selección de materiales.
