Abstract

In dieser Bachelorarbeit wird die Teilhabe am gesellschaftlichen Leben für Erwachsene mit einer paranoiden Schizophrenie thematisiert und deren Möglichkeiten und Grenzen behandelt. Genetische Ursachen und Umweltfaktoren sowie die sozialen Auswirkungen, welche die paranoide Schizophrenie bei Betroffenen haben können, werden beschrieben und mit dem Fähigkeitenansatz nach Martha Nussbaum verknüpft. Der Fähigkeitenansatz wird in seiner Praxistauglichkeit für die Betroffenen analysiert und kritisch begutachtet. Die sozialen Netzwerke werden auf ihre Unterstützungsmöglichkeiten und auf deren Belastungen hinsichtlich Teilhabe überprüft, um daraus Folgerungen für die Soziale Arbeit aufzustellen. Zuletzt werden Perspektiven bezüglich Teilhabe für Betroffene mit der Krankheit der paranoiden Schizophrenie aufgezeigt und die Möglichkeiten und Grenzen des Fähigkeitenansatzes in der Praxis beschrieben.
