This is the third release. The new version of the TRIPLEX-GHG model v2.0 is a process-based biogeochemical model which has been utilized to simulate major ecological and environmental processes, focusing on the green-house gas emissions. For this version of the TRIPLEX-GHGv2.0, the model can provide a reasonable estimation of the nitrous oxide (N2O) emission flux from global rice-based ecosystems in daily time step under various management and environmental conditions. The model was calibrated and validated against observation results across the globe.
