The special protection of the minor represents the set of measures, benefits and services intended for the care and development of the child deprived, temporarily or permanently, of the protection of his parents or of the one who, in order to protect his interests, cannot be left in their care". Special protection measures are placement, emergency placement and specialized supervision. The services are organized in order to prevent the separation of the minor from his parents, as well as to achieve the special protection of the minor without the protection of his parents and are of three types: day services which ensure the maintenance, restoration and development of the capabilities of the minor and his parents, to overcome situations that could lead to the separation of the minor from his family, family-type services which ensure, at the home of an individual or a family, the upbringing and care of the minor separated from his parents, as a result of establishing the placement measure and residential type services which ensures the protection, upbringing and care of the minor separated from his parents, as a result of the establishment of the placement measure and it was not possible to establish a family-type measure.
