This repository contains ComsolTM models used in a study described in the manuscript "'Stable' and 'ustable' classifications have no meaning for dynamic grounding lines". Models ZoetIverson_rmp10km_mdot_stst.mph and Weertman_rmp10km_mdot_stst.mph are examples of models to compute steady state configurations with Zoet-Iverson and Weertman sliding laws, respectively, with a 10 km basal-shear reduction zone. Models ZoetIverson_rmp10km_mdot_stochastic.mph and Weertman_rmp10km_mdot_stochastic.mph are examples of models to compute the time-dependent response for stochastic variability in submarine melting for the same sliding laws. The models have been created with COMSOL Multiphysics version 6.1.0.252 and Optimization Module.
citations This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0
popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average
influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average
impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
