Modos de Pensamiento. Un Desafío de los Procesos de Enseñanza-Aprendizaje en la Actualidad

Abstract

Enseñar y aprender en la actualidad constituyen procesos complejos que demandan la promoción del pensamiento en sus diversos modos de operar; esto supone insertar a los sujetos del acto educativo en el compromiso de disponerse cognitivamente para desplegar las habilidades de orden superior, competencias y operaciones mentales, que les permitan actuar significativamente sobre el conocimiento y la realidad de la que forman parte. Este proceder plantea como desafío orientar la praxis educativa hacia el uso de la criticidad, el análisis y la reflexividad, actividades cognitivas que por sus implicaciones favorecen el abordaje efectivo de los entramados de conocimiento e información exigidos en todos los niveles educativos. En tal sentido, este ensayo es el resultado de un recorrido documental, cuyo objetivo es caracterizar los modos de operación del pensamiento, aplicando métodos hermenéuticos A lo largo del trabajo se entiende el pensamiento como proceso que favorece el procesamiento crítico, reflexivo y analítico del saber acumulado, como insumo a partir del cual dimensionar las posibilidades para crear mundos nuevos, enfrentar los desafíos propios de cada comunidad científica y proceder de manera inteligente, flexible y autónoma frente a los retos propios de un contexto saturado de información compleja y diversa. Se concluye, que los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje requieren la promoción operativa de los modos de pensamiento, con el propósito de favorecer la formación de sujetos reflexivos, capaces de mirar desde diversos ángulos la realidad, establecer nuevas conexiones y tomar decisiones adecuadas.
