Les déterminants de l'intention d'utilisation des technologies bancaires en libre-service : une extension du modèle d'acceptation de la technologie (MAT)

Abstract

Le présent article est une réponse à un besoin d’extension de la recherche sur le MAT par l’intégration de deux variables externes adaptées au contexte des TIC bancaires en libre- service. Un modèle conceptuel mettant en évidence l’influence de l’image sociale et du risque perçu sur les variables traditionnelles du MAT y est développé. Ce modèle a été testé auprès d’un échantillon de 282 clients utilisateurs des TIC bancaires libre-service dans le contexte camerounais sélectionné selon la méthode non probabiliste en particulier l’échantillonnage boule de neige. Les résultats obtenus indiquent que l’image sociale et le risque perçu ont une influence directe sur les croyances comportementales et indirecte sur l’intention d’usage des TIC bancaires en libre-service. Cet article indique à titre de conclusion, la nécessité pour les institutions bancaires de promouvoir de manière soutenue la valeur de ce type de service sur la base des principaux attributs des TIC bancaires en libre-service. En outre, il insiste sur les variables fonctionnelles et psychosociales et les avantages sociaux tels que le développement de nouveaux services dans ces technologies, l’amélioration de l’information et l’intégration de nouvelles tendances sociales
