INTEGRACIÓN DE LA INTELIGENCIA ARTIFICIAL EN LA ARQUITECTURA EN AMÉRICA LATINA: DESAFÍOS Y OPORTUNIDADES

Abstract

La inteligencia artificial (IA) es una tecnología con un gran potencial para transformar la forma en que se diseñan, construyen y gestionan los edificios. Sin embargo, en América Latina, la adopción de la IA en la arquitectura se enfrenta a desafíos únicos debido a la pobreza y la desigualdad económica. La región enfrenta una serie de problemas, incluyendo una infraestructura inadecuada, un acceso limitado a recursos y una falta de inversiones en tecnología, que pueden impedir la adopción de esta tecnología en la arquitectura. Además, muchos de los retos de la pobreza en América Latina son resultado de la desigualdad económica, lo que puede llevar a la falta de acceso a tecnologías avanzadas. Esto puede limitar la capacidad de los arquitectos y constructores para adoptar nuevas tecnologías, y puede impedir que los edificios sean más eficientes y sostenibles. Otro desafío importante es la falta de capacitación en IA para arquitectos y constructores. A menudo, la falta de acceso a educación y capacitación puede impedir que los profesionales adopten y utilicen esta tecnología en su trabajo. Esto puede llevar a una falta de comprensión de cómo la IA puede mejorar la eficiencia y la sostenibilidad de los edificios, y puede impedir que se adopten soluciones innovadoras y sostenibles para abordar los desafíos que enfrenta la región. Asimismo, los desafíos culturales y éticos también pueden obstaculizar la adopción de tecnología en la arquitectura en América Latina.
