Cacia (Corethrophora) albicollis Heller 1923

Abstract

Cacia (Corethrophora) albicollis Heller, 1923 Deutsche Entomologische Zeitschrift. 1923a: 417, fig. 5.; Breuning, 1938: p. 377; Breuning, 1939: p. 451; Breuning, 1959: p. 59. Distribution: Luzon (“Imugen”). The type locality, which Breuning (1939) spelled “Innugan”, is possibly Imugan, which is in the Province of Nueva Vizcaya. The same spelling (”Imugen”) was also written by Dionisio Jakosalem, Secretary of Commerce and Communications, to the Governor General of the Philippine Islands in the First Annual Report of the Department of Commerce and Communications in 1918 (War Department Annual Reports, 1918: 173). Note: Breuning (1945) transferred this species to subgenus Corethrophora from Ipocregyes, where he had it classified once (Breuning, 1939). Type and depository information: Syntypes, SNSD.
