Sleep has a prominent place in the physical and psychological development of children. Mothers and fathers often look for a solution to this situation by expressing that their children do not want to sleep at a certain time, and sometimes even the whole household does not sleep. In this study, sleep problems in children and recommendations are discussed. Clinical Psychologists conduct the process of investigating, deciding the causes of problems and psychological support in such cases. In the article, amazingly effective methods to cope with the sleep problem in children are mentioned. The Function of Sleep: For centuries, the nature and function of sleep has been a subject of interest to humanity and science. Sleep and rest play a key role in keeping health and preventing diseases. Many researchers converge on the restorative effect of sleep, its homeostatic function, normal thermoregulation, and energy conservation effects. In delta sleep, heart rhythm slows down, respiratory rate decreases, body temperature decreases, metabolic activities slowdown in general, and body rest and regulation are provided. Thus, the energy use during sleep is minimized and arrangements are made in the vegetative system. Sleep reduces or relieves stress and anxiety. After a stressful day, an individual's active sleep increases.
