Mazkur maqolada ona tili o‘qitishda mashqning funksional jihati, uning nutqiy kompetensiya elementlarini rivojlantirishdagi o‘rni va og‘zaki va yozma savodxonlikni o‘stirish, ijodiy va kreativ fikrlash hamda o‘quvchilarning tafakkur qilish qobiliyatini takomillashtirishda mashq muhim ta’limiy vosita bo‘lib, shu xususda tilshunos, metodist olimlar hamda psixologlarning ilmiy qarashlari tahlil qilingan.
