The data were used in the paper "Modeling Flocculation Processes of Cohesive Sediment Through Moment Methodology" which was submitted to "Water Resources Research". In this paper, a new mechanistic Lagrangian-type flocculation dynamic model was proposed by solving the population balance equation with moment methodology and similarity transformation, and the influence of particles' surface heterogeneities (F2a) was incorporated. Furthermore, the roles of shear rate, sediment concentration, particle size and surface heterogeneity were investigated theoretically.
