Preprocessed data for Demirci et al. (submitted). The data set includes 595 brains from 12 primate species: Senegal galago Night monkey White-faced saki Tufted capuchin Rhesus macaque (N=31) Black and white colobus Wooly monkey Gray-cheeked mangabey Chimpanzee (N=54) Bonobo Gorilla Human (N=501) MR images were obtained from the following sources and processed using a number of tools (see paper for details): PRIMatE Data Exchange (PRIME-DE) (macaques) National Chimpanzee Brain Resource (NCBR) (chimpanzee, bonobo, and gorilla) Preprocessed surface files were obtained from the following sources and were further smoothed and normalized using our computational pipeline: Autism Brain Imaging Data Exchange I (ABIDE I) (humans) Ardesch et al. (remaining 7 species) For each specimen, there are 22 files containing, for each hemisphere: coordinates and connectivity for the smoothed and normalized pial (?h.pial.asc) and white (?h.white.asc) mesh file for the alpha surface (?h.alpha.ply). thickness at each vertex (?h.thickness.asc) sulcal depth (the distance between pial surface and alpha surface) at each vertex (?h.sulc.asc) curvature (k1, k2, SI, K, H) at each vertex of the pial surface (?h.pial.k1.asc, ?h.pial.k2.asc, ?h.pial.SI.asc, ?h.pial.K.asc, ?h.pial.H.asc) area of the pial surface, defined at each vertex (?h.pial.area.asc)
