Alzheimer's disease is one of the most prevalent dementia that affects nerve cells throughout the brain. This neurodegenerative condition is pathologically brought on by intracellular neurofibrillary tangles and extracellular amyloidal protein, which lead to the development of plaques that impede communication between the nerve cells. Mutations in the APP, PSEN1 and PSEN2 genes have been discovered to be a hereditary risk factor for this condition. Additionally, diet and nutrition have a significant impact on both the progression and prevention of Alzheimer's disease. Furthermore, using induced pluripotent stemm cells has shown to be a successful method of treating this illness.
