Memory and meaning are intertwined to the act of narrating. Its construction, as in other representations, points to an absence; evokes absences that should wishfully be present. Weave meaning or build memories are efforts against time and entropy, which incessantly obliterate everything, like the mythological Cronus. Efforts that refer to the yearning of Rhea, who, seeing her offspring being devoured, seeks to recover what was consumed. This proposal intends to focus on this duality, seeking to understand it in its relations with cyberculture, mapping developments in a society oriented by network communication. Keywords: ROM Culture, RAM culture, entropy, memory, storytelling
