Abstract

Palavras-chave: LMERT, Fadiga Laboral, REBA, Indústria do Mobiliário. _____________ Assessment of Work Fatigue and Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders in a Furniture Industry Abstract: This study analyses exposure to risks of Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders (WRMSD) and Labour Fatigue in workers of a manufacturing unit of the Furniture Industry. This company is constituted by eleven employees, being focused on the study eight workers involved in the production area. The Questionnaire for Labour Fatigue and Musculoskeletal Symptomatology (Neto, 2013) was applied and, based on the results, two workers were selected with more incident musculoskeletal symptoms. It was studied the postures endowed by those workers during the tasks accomplishment, being applied the REBA method to the postures that reveal the greatest anatomical-physiological dysfunctionality. The results show that the workers present a moderate level of lack of energy and a high level of exposure to the risk of WRMSD associated with the postures adopted during the performance of the tasks, for that reason was proposed control measures for the mitigation of the risks analysed. Keywords: WRMSD, Work Fatigue, REBA, Furniture Industry.
