Abstract

This work presents two empirical proposals for the production of armatures for stop-motion animation, using low-cost resources and accessible technologies. The first system consists of the production of a skeleton or armature with PVC tubes, bicycle spokes and plastic beads for jewelry. The second model, a little more resistant, consists of the production of the skeleton or armature, using 2mm acrylic, cut in a “laser cuter” process, bicycle spokes and plastic beads for jewelry, both models, are fixed by means of simple screws, easily found in common tools shopps. Keywords: Animation, stop motion, skeletons, armatures.
