A partir da produção "Remote Control II” (1989) da artista Jana Sterbak, o artigo se debruça nas questões que ladeiam modos de controlar e desestabilizar corpos frente a construções de gênero. Ao vestir um artefato comandando via controle remoto é provocado ordenar movimentos corpóreos, mas que também ocasionam relações de dependência. No encontro corpo/máquina Sterbak, estende de forma híbrida suas ações para relações dispares. Based on the production "Remote Control II" (1989) by artist Jana Sterbak, the article focuses on the issues that surround ways of controlling and destabilizing bodies in the face of gender constructions. When wearing an artifact commanding via remote control, it is provoked to order bodily movements, but that also cause dependency relationships. In the Sterbak body/machine encounter, she hybridly extends her actions to disparate relationships.
