DOCÊNCIA NO ENSINO SUPERIOR: CONCEPÇÕES SOBRE CONHECIMENTO NA ÓPTICA DOS DOCENTES DO CURSO DE PEDAGOGIA DO ISCED-UON

Abstract

O presente trabalho teve como principal objectivo investigar quais concepções os professores do curso de Pedagogia do ISCED-UON, constroem sobre o termo “conhecimento”. Com base no referencial da Psicologia Histórico-Cultural na qual concebe a constituição do ser humano por meio das relações sociais e do contacto com a cultura, torna-se importante conhecer em quais saberes os docentes se embasam ao construírem suas concepções sobre o termo “conhecimento”. Esta situação interfere directamente na actividade que exercem, voltada a formação de formadores. Apoiados no referencial da pesquisa qualitativa, foram realizadas quatro entrevistas semi-estruturadas com docentes do curso de Pedagogia do ISCED-UON. De posse do material, foi realizada análise inicial buscando compreender as concepções inerentes nas falas de cada o que permitiu tecer algumas considerações, sobre tais concepções, mediante o uso da técnica de análise do discurso. A partir das entrevistas com os professores relacionadas com a categoria conhecimento foi possível definir as seguintes subcategorias: Cultura; Saber; Informações e Experiência. Percebemos pelas falas que os educadores ressaltam alguns aspectos eleitos como importantes para compreender conhecimento, apresentando suas concepções, oferecendo elementos para pensarmos em quais – e como ocorre este processo – que sustentam suas actuações. Este trabalho tem a sua relevância ao permitir conhecer concepções de educadores, buscando melhorias nos processos educativos e permite a elaboração de futuras intervenções por meio da mediação educativas voltadas as práticas educativas.
