Abstract

The collection of Heteroptera of Ernst Heiss at the Tiroler Landesmuseum Ferdinandeum. Part IX. Gerromorpha II: Families Mesoveliidae, Hebridae, Hydrometridae, Hermatobatidae, Veliidae. The large private collection of Ernst Heiss, donated to the Tiroler Landesmuseum Ferdinandeum (TLMF) is now deposited at its Natural History Department in Hall inTirol, where the collection data are digitized. To facilitate future access to the collection for scientific research, these data are published in several parts. Eight parts are already published or in press. Part IX comprises data of 1,633 specimens assigned to 5 families,19 genera, 106 species and subspecies.
