TRANSYLVANOSAURUS gen. nov. Type Species — Transylvanosaurus platycephalus sp. nov. Etymology —‘Trans’ (Latin) meaning across, ‘silva’ (Latin) meaning forest, and ‘sauros’ (Greek σαύρος) meaning lizard (‘Lizard from across the forest’). The genus is named after Transylvania, the historical region that includes the Hateg Basin and the type locality of the genus. Diagnosis —As for the type and only species.
