ACTIVITIES OF LOCAL COUNTRYISTS AND COLLECTORS IN TURKESTAN

In this article, on the basis of modern researches, the author describes the activities of collectors in the Turkestan region and the experiences of local history, as well as the socio-political basis of the needs for local history research. In addition, an analysis of sources about local history scholars, researchers and local collectors in Turkestan is provided.
