Uma livreira digital: a comercialização de livros independentes na Banca Tatuí

Abstract

O presente trabalho versa sobre a comercialização de publicações de editores independentes na Banca Tatuí, uma banca de jornais repaginada para tornar-se livraria na cidade de São Paulo. Além do ponto de venda físico, a banca Tatuí também existe no formato de loja virtual e possui redes sociais nas quais figura uma personagem que faz o papel de livreira digital. Nosso intuito é demonstrar as estratégias utilizadas para promover as vendas e, sobretudo, dar visibilidade às publicações de pequenas editoras parceiras. Nossas reflexões partem da dissertação “Um mercado de peculiaridades: a Banca Tatuí e as estratégias de comércio e legitimação das casas editoriais do microcosmo gráfico-independente” defendida em 2020. O corpus consiste em excertos das entrevistas realizadas com os responsáveis pela livraria e com editores parceiros: Nega Lilu Editora (Goiânia), Polvilho Edições (Belo Horizonte) e Editora Barbante (Curitiba).
