Projeto "SARA - Sonho Azul em Realidade Aumentada"

Abstract

Realizo uma pesquisa que consiste em desenvolver um curta-metragem de animação que aborde memórias ferroviárias sobre o trem Sonho Azul, que viajava entre as cidades cearenses Crato e Fortaleza. Nesse trabalho, viso esquematizar uma experiência com Realidade Aumentada (RA) que deve trazer questões para o desenvolvimento da animação, visto que essa tecnologia estimula uma atividade maior dos utilizadores e gera uma convergência entre cinema e o jogo, por meio da interação entre elementos virtuais, o espaço real e as percepções sensoriais do usuário. A principal referência para essa prática são as experiências de Sérgio Eliseu (2016) que, ao explorar as narrativas em RA espaciais, nas quais a atividade é feita a partir do estabelecimento de coordenadas em uma geografia específica, criou os projetos artísticos “Cine-Mnemosyne” e “Comboio da Memória”. No primeiro, espalhou trechos do filme português Dom Roberto (1962), que poderiam ser assistidos em dispositivos móveis se o utilizador estivesse nos locais em que as cenas foram filmadas. No segundo, o artista agrega dados virtuais à estrada de ferro do Ramal da Lousã, com o intuito de denunciar o abandono dos trilhos pelo governo da pequena cidade em que seriam construídos. A partir da análise desses trabalhos, buscarei estruturar narrativas e modelos 3D do Sonho Azul ao longo de fragmentos ainda existentes dos trilhos por onde passava, dando concretude, ainda que virtual, àquilo que Hardman (1991) fala sobre o dilaceramento das convicções e das imagens do progresso que o trem representava, e seus vestígios como fantasmagorias do espaço urbano.
