</script>Parkinson's disease (PD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease, therefore, follow-up through clinical evaluations is very important, in addition to indicating the effectiveness of treatments. The present study aimed to evaluate the manual dexterity of individuals with PD (Experimental Group – EG, n=3) compared to healthy individuals (Control Group – CG, n=3). The Movement Disorder Society Unified Parkinson’s Disease Rating Scale (MDS-UPDRS) was used to evaluate the severity of PD. The Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE) was applied to participants of both groups who executed the Box and Block Test (BBT) and Nine Hole Peg Test (NHPT). The estimate of the number of blocks moved in sixty seconds was computed from BBT, while the time (in seconds) to move nine pins was estimated from NHPT. As expected, the performance of CG was superior to that of EG (BBT: CG 58.33±8.50 | EG 36±10.58; NHPT: CG 24.33±2.08 | EG 39.33±18.77). Future studies should consider an increased number of participants and a correlation analysis with MDS-UPDRS and features estimated from inertial and electromyographic signals.
