Artificial Intelligence based Prediction of employment opportunities and its Impact on Oman Economy

Abstract

Due to the increasing reliance on artificial intelligence in all aspects of life and work, workers, especially those in non-technical positions, are concerned about the increasing effects of using artificial intelligence, which is important to how employees see the future of their work. Many companies rely on AI capabilities and software in their daily routine. Also, many workers have become noticeably concerned about the possibility of losing their jobs due to the use of artificial intelligence. The proposed solution to this problem is to rely on humans and artificial intelligence at the same time because they complement each other and correct this misconception, but we cannot deny that artificial intelligence and technology will continue to advance and penetrate most of the work of human resource management. For example, AI is more useful or suitable for routine tasks that involve complex operations, while we do not disagree that humans are best suited in unpredictable environments, or in environments that require social intelligence. The primary role of AI is to help HR administrators focus on the core functions of HR, making them more efficient and dedicated to their work to become leaders to others. We will use the methodology of training workers and employees and preparing them for the rapid development of technology to become more dedicated to their work and have experience in dealing with artificial intelligence professionally. For example, (smart) computer programs will take on more tedious tasks such as setting employee work schedules, distributing simple tasks, doing initial monitoring of employee performance and other tasks, giving the opportunity for human managers to be a better role model at work.
