This article is devoted to the analysis of the state of legal regulation of corporations operating in the gambling business of the Russian Federation at the present stage, the prerequisites and options for improving the legislative regulation of gambling activity are identified. The paper presents an analysis of changes in legislation. The issue of illegal gambling was touched upon, for which a generalization of judicial practice was carried out, proposals for solving this problem were presented.
