The two documents were the training material of two workshops organized jointly by CO-OPERAS, the OPERAS SIG on standards and FAIR principles and the OpenEdition Center. The trainings were proposed to OpenEdition's open access journal publishers who were newly integrated on OpenEdition's publishing platform. The workshop aimed at presenting them the basics of metadata quality, its purpose in the global research ecosystem, and the tools helping to manage publications' metadata. The two workshops were the following: - "What are metadata for publication and how are they used?", held on Oct. 20th 2022 - "The actors and tools of metadata quality", held on Dec. 2nd 2022
