PARIBASA BALI DALAM LIRIK LAGU-LAGU POP BALI A.A. RAKA SIDAN SERTA RELEVANSINYA DENGAN PENGAJARAN BAHASA BALI PADA JENJANG PENDIDIKAN MENENGAH ATAS

Abstract

Paribasa Bali digunakan untuk memperindah dan pemanis dalam berbagai wacana bahasa Bali termasuk lagu-lagu pop Bali. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis, makna, dan fungsi paribasa Bali dalam lirik lagu-lagu pop Bali A.A. Raka Sidan serta mengetahui relevansinya terhadap pengajaran bahasa Bali pada jenjang pendidikan menengah atas. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori paribasa Bali, lagu pop Bali, teori makna, dan teori fungsi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: (1) terdapat 6 jenis paribasa Bali dalam lirik lagu-lagu pop Bali A.A. Raka Sidan, (2) terkandung 4 makna dan 5 fungsi paribasa Bali dalam lirik lagu-lagu pop Bali karya A.A. Raka Sidan, (3) adanya relevansi antara lagu-lagu A.A. Raka Sidan dengan pengajaran bahasa Bali khususnya paribasa Bali di kelas X dan kelas XI pada jenjang pendidikan menengah atas.
